How can I find out what artist/song was played on KWOD?
Check out the "Now Playing" area on the upper right corner of KWOD.net. Hit the "Last Played" Button or go to http://www.kwod.net/nowplaying.php. There, you can search the last few weeks by the day and the time to see what we played on KWOD! It's that easy! Some song (like our New Music Pods, or Sounds of Sac songs) sometimes don't appear. If so, email us the date, time, and description of the song, and we'll do our best to shoot it to you!

What's the deal with High Definition Radio?
HD Radio allows you increased control of the radio, like the ability to record, store and replay, with pause and fast-forward, KWOD programs like The Adam Carolla Show, Sounds of Sac, Red Headed Step Child, Anarchy Supper and just about anything that KWOD broadcasts. HD Radio receivers are available right now for your home or car. You can check out car receivers at www.cartoys.com. Home receivers are available at www.magnoliaaudiovideo.com. With an HD Radio receiver, you get the artist's name, song and CD title displayed right on the radio. Check out all that HD Radio offers at www.HD-Radio.com.

How do I get my bands music on KWOD?
KWOD plays Sacramento based bands on The Sounds of Sac, played weekdays at 11:05 a.m., 4:05 p.m. and 8:05 p.m. KWOD's Kevin Seconds is the producer, and he's always looking for the best in local music to feature. How do I win stuff on KWOD.net?
The majority of the prizes that KWOD gives away are through "The Club" here at KWOD.net. To increase your chances to win, you need to earn Club Points. There are lots of ways to get points. Check the "Get Points" area to see. You can even listen for New Music Pods or Sounds of Sac "Listen to Win" codes to get more points. Then, you "spend" your points on entries (for sweepstakes) to enter to win the prizes. The more points you spend, the better your chance to win. Sometimes, you can get points to enter to win a contest, when we make it a "survey". You can choose to get emails about station promotions and internet presales to concerts (we'll NEVER give out your info).
