An 18 year veteran of Northern California radio, Derek Moore is probably best known to Sacramento's Indie Music fans as the producer, writer and voice of Indie Blog Heaven, a daily and weekly specialty show on KWOD. (And a nationally renown Blog of the same name with a viewer base of 20,000 weekly) Derek also brings his vast knowledge and passion for the wide world of "Alternative" music to the night time hours on KWOD. And when we say, "vast", we mean it. Go ahead ask this guy a question. His organic hard drive is just crammed everything music. Indie, Punk, Grunge, Garage, Rockabilly, Industrial, Nu-Metal, Brit Pop, Folk-Alt, Ska/Dub, Reggae, World Music, Eastern Euro-Trance, Cow-Punk, Tejano, Swahili Rhythmic Click Talking... you get the idea. He lives and breathes this stuff!!
